Project:
New Dwellings

Location: Dalton, Richmond, North Yorkshire

Size: 253m2

Year: 2023

The site in the village of Dalton had previously received planning permission in 2006, but the project was never started, causing the permission to lapse. In April 2023, a resubmission was made, but due to new planning challenges, it took over 18 months to gain approval.

The approved plans consist of two generous 4-bedroom homes, each designed with ample living space and large outdoor areas. The design takes inspiration from the traditional architectural style of the village, ensuring that the new properties blend seamlessly with the existing village vernacular. This sensitive approach ensures the new development respects the character of Dalton while offering modern, spacious homes for future residents.
